Steven graduated from the University of Glasgow in June 2010 and, after working in a mixed practice in Northern Ireland for a few months, decided that small animals definitely weren’t for him and he joined us in October 2010.

Steven has a particular interest in lameness and he is a mobility mentor for the Healthy Feet Programme. He also runs the ever-popular Dairyland 4 day hoof trimming course which is run on a regular basis. Steven can offer tailored advice for your farm to decrease your lameness levels and save cows.

When not at work, he spends a lot of time running. He recently ran a 105 mile trail race in the Lake District as well as completing several marathons. He is hoping to get into New York and London marathons in the next year!
