Laura qualified from Bristol Vet School in 2009 and began working at Nantwich Farm Vets shortly after. She grew up on a dairy farm in Bostock, near Middlewich and was keen to specialise in cattle work immediately after graduation. She achieved the Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (Cattle) in 2015.
Laura’s main areas of interest are cattle surgery and infectious diseases. She has run the BVD Stamp It Out scheme for 200 clients of the practice and won 3rd prize in the international BVDZero Award 2020 for her case study on BVD. She is currently helping as many farms as possible achieve BVDFree Test Negative status and CHeCS accreditation and is also a trained BCVA Johnes Advisor.
In her spare time, she enjoys baking, spending time cycling with her two young boys and the occasional Parkrun.
